    		Evel Knievel Jump Site
    This historic site marks the spot where daredevil Evel Knievel attempted to jump across the Snake River Canyon on a rocket-powered skycycle. Although he managed to clear the canyon, strong winds blew his parachute into the river, where he would have perished had he not made it across.
